Sprint may offer it, but they don't really support it. I have a Sprint T608 and they don't offer any accesories on their site, at least not as of a few weeks ago.

Check the Bluetooth Primer thread for information about how they suddenly realized that Bluetooth would cut into their PCS Vision craptacular internet surfing toy sales and have limited the T608 customers to 3MB a month.

I have the t608 and no Sprint does not sell acessories but they are all over ebay. Additionally if you call Sony Ericson and tell them your battery will not hold a charge and you tried reconditioning it they will send you a replacement free! Seems months of sitting in the warehouse without charging created a problem.

Also I have unlimited Vision (for now) but we will see when the 3 months free run out.

I had the T608 for just over a week but had to return it because the phone developed a memory leak and I was unable to add any new phone numbers, images, ringers or anything.

My local Sprint store manager says that the T608 may be available mid February in store. If they've truly sold out, that obviously won't happen, but the silver lining is that would send a pretty clear message to Sprint about bluetooth demand.

February sounds better, and I hope they have a rebate for it again.

Sprint DOES sell the T608 accessories.... I bought my case from them.. they also had the car charger if you want.

You need to call the Sprint Accessory hotline. You will not find them on the website.

And I would assume that Sprint WILL see the light and have more bluetooth devices soon. At least they have a modeol they deal with a little, the T608.. unlike Verizon who just has none.

i've heard in other forums that verizon has 2 fully enabled bluetooth phones coming by this spring -- they will probably actually promote and support them unlike sprint. i'm rooting for sprint since they are an underdog, but...

Motorola next

Rumor has it that Sprint and Motorola are working on the next Bluetooth phone. No time frame yet. Go to www.sprintpcsinfo.com and search around the forums.
BTW..someone on the Sprint forum said that as of a few days ago Sprint Telesales had ~1000 of the T608 in stock. Better call soon.
