Sprint Booster

SS is dependent on transmission logic computers, it takes time to process if the shift can be done, then the reaction time for the car to actually shift gears too.
Also on a side note, I was talking with a mechanic today about the VSA system in the TL, and he brought up the point of the Throttle position sensor playing a role with the way VSA reacts. To the vendor and developer, have you made sure that the VSA system functions properly after the installation of sprint booster?

Disassembly?
Is anyone who owns this willing to take it apart to see what is actually inside?
Like a lot of people here, I am skeptical about this unit. If I can find out what's inside I might be able to shed some light on what is going on electrically here (I'm an electrical engineer).

As an Elec. Engr. I have pull out my BS Card.
Watch the video and he says it cleans up the signal.. all the other claims could be valid if the throttle signal is poor... like increased accel.. blah blah blah
I'd like to open this little guy up and tell you guys how to make it yourself for $10.
I would guess that it is simply a signal filter and amplifier. They spend $10 to make it $100 to market it and pocket the rest.. OR.. if they're smart they spend $2 to have a Chinese / Taiwan ODM make it and $0 to market it in the car forums / youtube and pocket the rest..
My suggestion: Save your money.. be nice to your car.. all you need is 2500 RPM and Zoom!

LOL>> I FOUND A WHITE PAPER ON IT!!!!

Exactly as I expected.. this guy didn't take it appart but..
as an executive summary he found out it amplifies the throttle position sensor signal by 1.3
You are not accelerating faster.. it is just allowing you to get the same jump by pressing your pedal less.. meaning.. you can mimic the gain by just mashing your foot down on your pedal a bit more..
Majofo - 1
Sprint Booster - 0
btw.. in Europe you call it Booster Sprint, adjective last, otherwise known as B.S.

So to all those who said it boosts / amplifies the signal / voltage of the throttle position sensor.. you're all right! this is just a backup source for anyone who was skeptical about what they said.
But.. you got money to spend.. you like what it does.. BUY IT!.. But I'm worrying about keeping a job > paying my bills and keeping my car running.. modding is a hobby.. I just hate to see people pay such a high margin for something that is so cheaply and easily produced.

The Sprint Booster may seem like 'snake oil', and the technical descriptions may not seem impressive - but it really does change the 'feel' of the car.
30-day money back guarantee - why not try it before you pass judgement??

Sorry, I was on vacation and finally have a chance to get on the computer.
Note that I have a 6mt and ordered one for a 6mt.
I love the responce that I now get from the car.
The unit I have has too much boost meaning that a 1/4 of the gas pedel is full throttle.
I wish it was a little more evened out.
Beside's that, it is great!!!!!!! There is no delay when you want the car to move!!!!
When I give it gas, the CAI start sucking air and the respone is there!!!!!!
I do not think $300 is a good price. It should be about $150 - $200.
If you do have the money, I would get it.

Oddly enough...I had a whole conversation in the thread with this vendor erased. Figure that out? And it was nothing more than what is already being said here? Fact is....it was a very good informative discussion regarding this product and just what it can and cant do. Vendor was very forthcoming about it matter of fact...I was kind of impressed.
My guess...due to lack of sales....he did not renew his vendor agreement at the end of the term. AZ bans you for that usually if your SN is a company name like his is/was. And fact is...with his SN and the lack of post history...in his case that would be the easiest thing to do and let him start another SN without the company name in it? Dunno...guessing here.
