spray paint to match tl-s tails
Im looking for a spray paint that will match the gunmetal trim in the tl-s tails/wheels so I can paint my headlights. Anyone have any suggestions? Glossy finish preferred. Thanks!

This is what chill_dog used on his custom tails and might I add they came out quite NICE! Here is the link to check them out

SEM Charcoal Metallic trim paint, SEM 39033. He picked it up at a local Sherwin-Williams automotive paint store.
Here is a link to where you can get the paint...I actually did this for myself (so I wouldn't get lost) just in case you needed me to pick up the paint for you too hahahaha

I'm pretty sure its not paint. Its Viny sticker layed on from the inside ontop of the LED boards leaving the outer lens clears. Remember doing that mod requires sawing our tails open. It looks very nice contrasted on WDP like that! My suggstion is going to a body shop and getting your tails painted for optimum results.
They will mix some clear coat with drops of black to get the perfect shade you want and spray it on, and it will look 1000x better than any off the shelf product can do.

Its for my headlights, I already have tl-s tails, but thanks for that info. I dont think i have enough confidence to hack open a pair of tails anyways....the headlights will be stressing enough.

raj- I pm'd chill_dog and that (the paint) is exactly what he said he used.
BUT now that you mention it I do remember someone saying they used some sort of carbon fiber looking overlay but that was for something else wasn't it?
Hmmm, now you have me thinking, I'm going to do some searching but he is looking to do his headlights anyway so I guess it really wouldn't matter.

My paint doesn't match the TL-S tails. For that, you would need a black chrome paint. I've seen it around.

Carrie- Yes...CF in the corners of the reflectors. He posted a link for us on eGay to purchase .. which I'm going to do. Btw chilldog... I phtoshopped your tails on my NBP after talking to you and it didnt flow.. I was going to get them custom painted at a shop but chose not to.. .not enough contrast. On your WDP it looks sweet as Fahh!!
