Spots on Tach and Speedo Glass

Was cleaning the TL tonight and applied some glass cleaner to a rag to wipe off the 3 pods. The tach and speedo showed immediate spots that will not come off. The gas pod is fine. I have no idea what could be causing this but it is very noticeabl eand annoying. Almost like they are water spots but they do not come out. Anyone else experience this?

yes it seems to be 'out-gasing' of the plastic and the 2 line I believe on the tach has 'notches in it on the 2004's

A few guys had this problem in the past. I did not see a solution and since I have the same problem I look forward to hearing from someone repaired this. I think the spots are on the inside of the lenses.

I have a scheduled appt on Tuesday night for an oil change at the dealer i bought the TL from. I also think these spots are on the inside of the glass. Will they replace the glass? I can't beleive this is a stockable item. I'll certainly ask. Weird why this happened as soon as I applied my cloth with glass cleaner sprayed onto the cloth to the glass pod. BTW, I use the GM glass cleaner that comes in a can which is the best glass cleaner I have ever used on a car or my house windows. Windex suks in comparison. Guess GM does make some good stuff like this and the GM Synchrocmesh Friction Modified fluid for the tranny. BTW , mine is an '06.

you can always take it apart, and use TurtleWax's polishing compound and rub them out

If it's on the inside, which I almost certain it is I will let the dealer handle this under warranty.
