splash guards, wheel locks, and trunk tray

Hi,

What is a reasonable amount for splash guards, wheel locks, and a trunk tray? I am being quoted $250. It seems reasonable to me. Thanks.

Dealers in the Indy area have typically been pre-installing these items and calling them a "Protection Package" for $399.

I agree with VTEC and would negotiate these for free in your deal if you truly want these items on your car.

Did you get any accessories on your car Tripp?? How did you do as far as cost goes?

I got no accessories on my car; however, I negotiated that they would install any accessories at a later date. They would sell me the accessories at their actual cost.

I thought later on that I might have an issue with backing up and not seeing the trunk lid - turns out I was right as I backed up a bit too far this morning and barely (and I mean barely) made contact with a concrete retaining wall. Ouch. No damage to the eye; however, run your hand across the back bumper and you feel little bumps in a clump about the size of a quarter.

That's no fun at all...planning on doing anything to alleviate that issue?

Based on your advice that a lip spoiler helps you see the trunk lid, one of those are going on ASAP. I might do the install myself and buy it where you bought yours.
