Does anyone know if I can install the splash gards just for the winter?

I would like to take them off in the summer but was worried that they would damage the paint or leave lines where people would know I had splash guards on.

Anyway one have them on and has removed them? Thanks

 

An option would be to use Paint Protection Film on the area where the guard sits to protect and prevent damage. And you can leave it on during the summer months for the same purpose - damgage prevention against road debris. There are a couple of folks who have it applied to lower area of the vehicle.
