Splash guard instructions...

Does anyone have the instruction on how to install the splash guards? I am sure I could figure it out on my own, but I'd rather not mess with the car too much if I don't have to.

Thanks

interesting description from handa:

'Genuine TL splash guards. The Splash Guards are custom molded to perfectly fit the contours of the TL Available as a four-piece set, these Splash Guards look great and will help defend against chips and scratches from road debris.'

Mine do not perfectly fit. Seem to have gotten worse over time. Dealer installed though. Hopefully this is just mine and can be fixed?

Backing off the screws a little should allow you to adjust them... then tighten up again. May not have been adjusted properly or the screws are coming loose!.. check them screws.

sorry to bump a 3 month old thread, but yeah one of mine don't fit exactly, there's a slight gap in the back left one, not a big deal i guess, no matter what i did i couldn't get it to fit properly. i don't see how it could get better, but does it get better over time?

Who installed the mud guards?

Genuine Acura accessories carry the same warranty as the vehicle, so if the dealer installed them, he can either make it fit or replace them under warranty. If you installed them, you might have to return them for a replacement.

Either way, get the dealer to check out the reason that it doesn't fit right. Could be some misaligned sheet metal.
