a-spec or type-s aero kit

just bought an 05 and was looking to get a lip kit. can anyone tell me which one they like better and why? and also the cheapest place on the net to buy it? or can u only get it from honda.acura?

a spec honda acura world, and there is a group buy thread that I made not too long ago its 792 and some change including shipping, cheapest you can buy new

I paid $790 shipped for my entire A-Spec body kit for my 06 TL. Then $290 for Acura to install. If it was summer here I would have installed it myself.

I like the 2004-2006 A-Spec body kit TOTALLY.

I REALLY DISLIKE the 07-08 TL Type-S A-Spec front MASSIVE, BULGING, HUGE, FAT front lip. :no

But the rear looks HOT

the bottom grill is differnt from my base model.. will the apec still fit?

I have a 04 TL and just put in an order for the front and rear aspec only at Acura of Peoria in Arizona. It was $524 picked up. Can't wait to put it on!

I think the TL-S lip looks ok, but I like the Base more. To each his own though.

I think that if you're going to do the TL-S lip though, you really need fog lights in the lower grills or else it will look odd.

Even though I recently bought the Type-S a-spec kit I agree with most people that the front isn't that great. I like the base front much better. But, the group buy was for the whole kit and, more importantly, I didn't want to go through modifying the base front to fit the Type-S. I know at least one member has done it and it looks great. The Type-S rear with the base front would be ideal.
