A-Spec Steering Wheel

My Dealer wants $350 for the steering and $140 to install. That seems quite expensive for the small amount of horsepower that it adds. What does everyone, anyone think? Is this a waste of money???

Huh? The steering wheel adds horsepower to the car? I am not sure exactly what you meant by your statement, please explain in more detail...But personally, I've seen the A-spec steering wheel before and I like the normal one much better...I would not spend around $500 just for that...I think there are some other mods that would REALLY make a difference on the car for a price much less than what you have mentioned (comptech sway bar + k&n filter = about $160)...

It is expensive, but I have one. $300 for the steering wheel and $97 for the install (at Acura). The A-Spec steering wheel is thicker than the regular one and the grey inserts match my quartz interior. Also the blue stitching matches the blue lighting in the cabin.

The steering wheel is nice. With a few tweaks, you can get a bump of about 25HP, then the $500 is a good investment.

On the other side, you can probably get 10HP for $1 with a new VTEC sticker.

Good luck.

is actually different...its thicker, feels better in the hand, and most importantly (to me anyway) the rim itself extends closer to the body/hand....it is much better than the standard wheel....

btw, it took less than a half hour to install, and thats with screwing all of the pieces onto the new wheel...

I'd stick with the stock one. For $500? I'd rather spend it on other unnecessary things.
