my dealer confirmed that this package will be available again for '05 and it will be a factory installed option.....the only changes to the package will be 2 new wheel designs.

 

One option is said to be, a chrome of the current A spec wheel, but not sure of the other option? I'm hoping silver. Think I'll wait to find out before I buy my 18's

 

I hate chrome :/ Just my personal opinion. YOU can like it if u want, but personally, I hate chrome.

So, it should be signifigantly cheaper, right? Since we no longer have to pay installation and won't have to have paid for those old parts we're not using. Hopefully....

 

Unless they start to offer the A-Spec as something akin to a Type-S model I doubt highly that it will be a factory installed option. For one it is not something that sells that frequently (at least not like the Type-S), and assuming that there are no major changes in the A-Spec package (i.e. engine performance enhancements) all of the parts are direct bolt on!?

I agree that this SHOULD be a factory installed option (ala the BMW performance package) but I do not think that this will happen until they change the A-Spec kit!

I am checking my sources on this (wife works for Honda, and used to work for Acura)!

Chrome A-spec Wheels

 

They already offer the A-Spec wheels in Chrome. You just had to know to ask for it.

And as I said in another thread on A-Spec for 05, the "other" color option will be very similar to the Factory Wheels Finish, but on the A-Spec design. This is according to my dealer late last week. The Gunmetal finish they offer now will be gone with the 04 stock.

 

I doubt it will be factory installed too. Can't trust those guys at the dealership any way. Last year when the 04TL came out, they didn't know shit about it. We, the internet community, knew way before they did. They keep the sales staff in the dark on purpose so that they can sell the current model and so they don't start running their mouths about next year's model and thus hurting the current year's sales.

 

Maybe, I sent the guy an e-mail asking him to explain crome.
