You can get the complete set with rims and tires off eBay for $3800, don't know about installation though.

what all is in the A-Spec package?

I read that you have to buy it ALL as a package... you can't just buy pieces as you go?

Is anyone selling an upper strut bar for the 2004 TL's yet?

I was quoted 4900 with install as well. This was down from 5900 + install.....until I showed them the add from Curry Acura on Ebay that is!!

Also the TL already has a VERY hefty upper strut tie bar from the factory. I checked this when I was in the showroom and was quite impressed!!

7000!! WOW they better provide some vaseline with that as well.

It all comes down to the fact that there is money on the table. It may not be the amount the dealer wants, but if they realize you can purchase from Curry Acura for a substantial discount, they may be more willing to bargain. Some money is better than no money!!

Good luck and let me know how it goes!!

Do you get to keep the original parts?

As in, the wheels, suspension, etc. Because you can probably get ~1,000 just for the OEM wheels by themselves. Or does the dealer swap them out and keep them? because that's like, paying a lot more (base price includes the wheels etc).

$7000? What an a$$hole. There are a set number of kits available but dang, a little over $3800 for the kit and about $1000 for the install. Isn't that enough? These people need to get real.

Do you get to keep the original wheels if you buy the A-spec? A second set for snow tires would be great!

Yes! You buy the car + the package. Be sure to remind them that you want ALL of the parts that were replaced.

While I have heard that you get to keep all the stock parts after an A-Spec install, I have to wonder why Acura makes no credit available to people who don't want this sheet back. I mean what the hell am I going to do with an extra set of wheels, a steering wheel (if they even replace the original I think it is a leather wrap), and a stock suspension. I mean seriously they could use these parts for other people who come in and need part replacement and offer them a discount.

I guarantee if you don't ask for the parts back, they will keep them anyway which is shady to say the least.

Give me a 1500.00 credit anyday and you can keep em!!!
