A-Spec Online Ordering

I was just talking with my local Acura dealer in regards to the A-Spec kit appearing online and wanted to clarify something.

The kit is being sold by an Acura Dealership (not a 3rd party) and it requires the vin number to purchase. I wanted to have my local Acura dealership install it.

I was informed that it would not be covered by Acura if it did not appear on the invoice. Personally I think this is a load of crap, as I am buying from Acura, and having Acura install it.

Can anyone confirm this for me???

As far as I know, your dealer with cover the install if anything goes wrong, and if a part fails Acura corporate will have to cover those parts...question being, what parts could possibly fail that you would need covered?? I think it will be like any other aftermarket set-up that you get after the purchase of a car...the manuf of the part is responsible for the part itself, and the installer for the work they do.
