hey guys. im new to acurazine and im a little confused a bout the a spec lips. will the 04-06 lips fit on an 08 tl? or is there a separate a spec kit altogether for the 08 model? and does the base aspec fit on the type s? this concerns the front bumper lip mostly.

 

No it will not it's not the same. A TL-S A-Spec lip will not work on a Base TL.

 

Well I know for a fact that I have seen 07-08 tls with a 04-06 front lip & rear lip. I have heard people upgrading their 04-06 to 07-08 lips.

 

PM thewanderer for more information. he has a Type S with a base a-spec front lip.

 

^ yeah, i have the base aspec. I had to buy an 04-06 front bumper in order to get the front aspec to fit on, and the rear aspec went right over the type s bumper. Aspec sides are all the same.

 

I have an 08 model and I ordered an A-SPEC lip specific for my year..

They come for each specific year because the curvature of the bumper around the oem fog lights in the 07-08 changes.. thus there are lips for each bumper... one for the base and one for the type s..

04-06 is a different lip than the 07-08..
