hi, im recently new to this, and thats including doing things to my acura, i was wondering if anyone knew where i could get a A-Spec LipKit for my acura Tl 2006? and if anyone know if it would look good on my acura and if its hard to install?

 

It's not gonna look good. Many members buy the eBay lip kits, better quality and unpainted so you can pick your own color.

look for the group buy...OEM whole kit for like $715. of course it looks good otherwise we all wouldn't be looking to put them on our cars. if you're handy with basic tools and have a friend that can help...install isn't too complicated.

TLtrigirl - Wat is a OEM Whole kit? i wanted a lipkit cuz it is easier to put on, thats why i didnt want a body kit, and im in michigan, i dont have many ppl here who can put a whole body kit on lol

 

OEM Whole kit is front lip, side skirts, and rear lip. I'm guessing you only want the OEM A Spec kit. BeezleTL65 is just giving you a hard time lol.

OEM Aspec "lip" kit. stay away from the cheap ebay crap, but in the end it is your car, so spend your money where you please.

Bee85 gave you the info and trigirl is correct. Goolge acrua 3g for newbies and you can get more info. Also, there is a DIY thread and its not hard to install have a friend help you if need be.

 

i just did it this week, not to hard. just take your time, remove bumpers and it will take the better part of an afternoon. I got mine from AckTL05 on the group buy. just search "group buy a spec under $750 , and you will see it. its legit and it looks great. to put an 04 lip on the 08 it will require some additional modding, trimmimg, etc...iy works but its not the exact same size, GL

You can buy the cheap eBay kit, it's up to you. OEM " style " isn't OEM from acura. Contact AckTL05 for the OEM kit. Wouldn't buy the kit from anyone else.

OEM style ebay stuff....is junk. fitment isn't that good and they are made of fiberglass which will crack.

Even if the initial price is lower, consider that paint will run you $300 at the bare minimum, plus most likely you'll have to pay a body shop to install because it won't fit right because it is aftermarket crap.

But hey, if $1,000+ for a shitty product seems better to you than $750 for OEM quality, paint, and fit, then knock yourself out.
