I am looking for a few pictures of the a-spec lip kit on a silver 07 tls. I have seen some nice kits but i am not sure if it is the a-spec or not. Thanks everyone.

 

Why don't you ask the owner of the car which lip kit they have?

Here just about EVERYONE has a a-spec lip kit. Hardly anyone has anything else for their TL . There's A-Spec than there's Ron Jon. Just about 90-95% of everyone on here has a-spec

 

OEMAcuraParts.com (ie: Tim or Acura of Peoria) has the same price as the Group Buy if you use their free shipping coupon code "Spyhunter" (over $500 order). I just got mine last week and I'm in the process of installing it. Paid $725 for 04-06 SSM kit to my door. I think the 07+ base kit was $730 depending on the color.

 

Aspec and RJ is about all there is.

ASM Type S Front is now a discontinued item. Anyone know what it would likely cost to get just the front painted to match?

Yea, that's about what I figured. Unfortunately, I have a feeling that means the lip kit likely isn't in my future anymore. Wasn't positive about the $750 before, but for $1,000 or more I'm nearly positive I don't want it that much.

 

Think of it as a maintenance item to help cover up some of the rock chips you may have on the bottom half of your front/rear bumpers. that alone is worth a few hundred.

 

That's damn good rationalization right there. But fortunately (unfortunately?) at only 21,xxx miles, nearly no rock chips yet.

 

Then think of it as a preventative addition to keep the bottom half of your front/rear bumper from being damaged before it happens.

 

Isn't there a way to adapt the base-model's lip to the A-spec front bumper?

And no, I don't think that's aftermarket, I think its very nicely done modification. To be honest, I would rather mine look like that than the Type-S front. I wonder how much work it would entail...

 

Okay, I found the guys thread. He had it done at a body shop cause he didn't like the "Transformer / Darth-Vader" style TLS front lip. They had to trim the fog-corners and use some polyurethane resin to round the trimmed corner. Then he had the entire kit repainted to better match the white paint. The A-specs are known to be slightly off in the color, but WDP is easily the worst.

Ya, if you can send a couple that would be great. I have seen a couple nice ones lately i have decided on getting it soon. I like it a lot more than the RJ kit.
