i had a 04 base TL ,bought it at a month ago,with NAV,CF interious,50K ,18K + tax out door ,LOL i love my car very much ,and i know u guys do ...

 

also i got a question ,is the SLR8 exhaust looks more like tye-s or the ATLP quad exhaust ? and which one will make HP ?

 

i got my front lip on ebay for 280 shipped just type acura tl aspec you should be able to find it

 

and yes i believe all come painted

I have the Quald Exhaust V2, J-Pipe V2 and race pipe with an Injen Cai and it sounds good!!! Definitly a good buy!! The only problem is how long it takes to get the parts.

There is a tread on here where Mike actually has a few more V2 quad exhausts under Future ATLP or something like that in the performance section. You might want to go to the last page of that thread and get a hold of him there. Mikes user name on this forum is Aznbo187.

As for Aspec front lips there are many vendors on this site that are selling them for a discounted price painted and ship to match factory specs.

The V2 pipe has more ground clearance if your lowered. RV6 also has some good deals going on now with a dual exhaust and j-pipe!

If you want the Quad and you have the base TL model you will need to get the aspec Type S rear lip kit so the quads will fit.

Yea its mine. It sounds GREAT!! I have an INJEN Cai, ATLP J-Pipe V2 and ATLP Race Pipe. With this combo it makes it sound really good.

WOW ..thank u guys .....help me a lot ....umm , i still want to know ,if i put the tye-s bumper on my base model the fitment looks better ? or just put the tye-s a-spec rear lip ?

 

visually (if done correctly) they should look almost identical.. if you get the type-s rear lip only, you will have to cut up your stock bumper a little bit to make it fit correctly. if you do the type-s bumper, it'll be a straight swap for your stock bumper, but it is gonna cost more $$. also depending on the color of your car, you may have to get the parts painted because the type-s didnt come in certain colors that the 2004 came in (such as anthracite metallic)

Depends, what is the year and model of ur TL? Some of the 07-08 TLS came with the type s aspec lip kit, some didn't. There are two kinds of aspec lip kits. One is for the type s and the other for a base model. If u have a 07-08 type s than an aspec kit wouldn't be needed unless u are going for looks.

As for warrenty, you would lose your exhaust warrenty, not your drivetrain and engine warrenty. If something messed up and they can link it to the cause of your exhaust doing the damage to your engine then ur SOL. . That goes for any part u replace that isn't OEM.
