A-Spec Lip Dilema

I own a TL 04' with A-Spec body kit and for some of you that have it know you have a problem with the lip not fitting snugged on the front bumper. Its usually on the right side. The dealer told me they know about this problem and its happens on other tl's because the kits molding. It isnt perfect all of the time. My service maNAGER heard about a corking solution to fill in the gap to cause the lip to the seal and close tightly. She heard this from someone that owned a car with a kit that had this similar problem, and it solved the problem. She is going to find out more about this to make sure its safe for the paint.

Anyone know about this, what is it called , is it safe on the paint?

I believe I'm the resident "specialist" on this issue (j/k).. check out my in depth thread w/ pics. There is a wealth of knowledge and tips in the forum.. all you have to do is search, I strongly recommend you do that next time (not knocking you here, just a suggestion)

I have the same @#!@# problem with my A-spec Kit. I have corner gaps for my fron chin spoiler and my rear has rear and corner gaps for my rear under spoiler. I was kinda of dissapointed b/c the kit should fit perfectly since I spent over $2500 for it!!!!! I am bringing my TL back next week and hope they fix that problem up. It has been raining so much here in Vancouver that water is seaping into the gaps which I don't think is too good for the front and rear bumpers.
