I want to get the full A spec kit for my 2004 TL. The stealership is quoting me, $590 for the front, $703 for the sides and $590 for the rear.

This is in Toronto, does this even sound right?? I mean I was a little shocked when i heard this.

I wanted to join the group buy but with the conversion and duties didn't seem worth it. But now I don't know.

I seen this, that don't have my colour though. Are the prices I listed right though, I mean doesn't it seem a bit crazy?

I got a M3 Kit for my e36 a few years ago and it came with moldings and badges for less then what they are asking for this A spec kit. And that's BMW the king of rip offs.

The prices seem high man but all the dealerships in canada are like that. Another member from Edmonton got quoted 2000$ for the painted a-spec and installed. It's a fucking rip off for sure. By friend got a FULL body kit ( not a lipkit but the whole bumpers) made of polyurethane or something unbreakable and painted for 1500$. And a lip kit costs more then the whole bumpers for the TL

Yeah we should, who else from Toronto would like the kit? I am going to call the Van city dealerships to see if they will ship it.

I called ACURA 2000 but they are only a bit cheaper. 560 for front, 700 for sides and 560 for the rear. ACURA NORTH told me how there was only one kit availale in my colour but ACURA 2000 says they have lots of them.

Yes we always pay more for things in Canada but this is just insane. I really want the A spec kit though because its OEM and I like the look. What kinda kit did your friend get?

Ya i got a quote from west side acura and it was 1600 something for the full kit. and she also said since these are a accesory item, once they are gone, they wont be available again.

I called Acura 2000 about 2days ago speak to Shari parts manager there, he'll sell the kit $810 for my Type-s painted 4 pieces, and $1200 for base TL comes in 5 pieces with the spoiler, don't ask me why? i don't know if he would sell the same price if you buy them loose, as i understood the price he gave me are for the combo.

I really want the kit for my self too and i know this is a good deal but i have to check my budget see if i can spare 1G cdn.
Just a thought if we can get a group buy may be we can ask him for further discount lol. Just a thought.

I wish someone made replicas. But TL aftermarket parts are so rate it's ridiculous. I think there is more aftermarket parts for any other car then for this car

I just called http://peninsulaimports.com they are in oakville. Bill quoted me at $1175 + taxes for the A-spec kit for my 2006. All colours the same price.

I will be ordering mine on Tuesday b/c I am scared this kit will be discontinued.

I guess i got pretty lucky.... i bought mine from tim at hondacuraworld.com... ray laks honda in buffalo... full lip kit in wdp + type-s tail lights and sidemarkers for $1100 CA back when our dollar was really good... installed it at a parking lot with a friend!...

Wow that is a good deal, was that including taxes too? How hard was it to install both by yourselves? I am planning to do the install with my buddy he used to work at Acura as a Tech. But hasn't installed much kits and I am not really that good with cars myself.

yeah pretty much.. i think it came up to $1120?.. sickkk deal since its oem + its painted.... wasnt so hard... this website has everrry DIY's you need for the TL... never been on a car forum like it!.. but yeah.. i'd suggest you search the forums for the threads.... instructions pretty much go step by step...

hey you should be able to get a good deal from a dealership eventually cuase the aspec kit is a disco'd product, or soon to be atleast.youll be able to get misc. colors of the kit for cheaper.. just gotta find a dealership willing to give you a break. i just picked up sides for 400$ from my local dealership.. but i used to work there so im not sure if that was the disco price or if he gave me a break! lol.. but anyways he did tell me that the prices were going to be cheaper.. hope this helps somewhat.
