A-spec invoice pricing?
A-spec invoice pricing?
hey guys- (1st post, great site)
here's the situation: wife wants a tl, i say great but with a 6-speed manual. she says it too much work. compromise--automatic a-spec.
is there a website out there that has the a-spec invoice pricing? i've been on cars.com, edmunds, and vehix. no such luck-
thanks.

Welcome!!
I searched on MSN.com under "Autos", left pane of the web page.
Then selected New Cars
Under Makes and Models I inputted Acura TL
According to this site;
MSRP is between 32,650 - 34,650
Invoice is between 29,755 - 31,575
With the A-Spec package, usually the dealership adds on an extra 4K, perhaps higher.. Of course this is all negotiable.

Also, I was looking on E-bay and there is a 6MT/SSM and a AT/WDP A-Spec with low, low miles up for auction. They are asking $36K and some change for BIN.
SSM is here.
WDP is here

The plain and simple fact is that invoice price doesn't mean anything on these cars. No one is working from invoice. Too new, too hot. Start @ MSRP like everyone else and work back. Here are some recent street prices (Non-NAVI = $30,500, NAVI = as much as $2K off the $35,195 sticker brings them in near $33,500). You THEN get to add any "options" such as A-SPec. Have heard of some getting a "crippled" A-Spec for around $3,900 (I believe it is the A-Spec package without the suspension kit). Lowest "full" A-Spec I've seen bought online was a $35,500 non-NAVI car. You can probably get the installation done for free as a condition of buying the package, but that's about it. Hope this helps. Good luck!
