A-SPEC front spoiler

I am thinking about getting the A-Spec body kit and I am a little worried about scraping it against the curb when parking head on or touching a curb when parallel parking. I saw a TL with A-spec at lunch and his front spoiler will not clear concrete parking stop blocks.

Mine clears some stop blocks and curbs, doesn't clear others. I usually just leave my car out a bit so I don't even have to worry about it (still sticks out less than an SUV).

Same here, just leave the room. My big concern was leaving places with steep driveway aprons, which cause you to scrape the underside of your front-end.
Already done this 3 times and now avoid those parking lots.

I scrape a lot but you won't notice it and most of the time it hits the plastic thing that hangs lower than the front spoiler.

one of my dads good friends has a lowered tl with a spec, says his front spoiler is fucked. Repainting will cost 150, thats like as much as the spoiler... jezz.
try going with ron jons, they look nice, but a little much

I have scraped once, and it was my fault. (And I drive in Chicago nearly daily).

Stay away from curbs and parking blocks......Also, enter/ exit steep driveways at an angle. The sweet looks far outway the minor nuisance.

Are you having these scraping problems with solely the front lip, or are you all dropped as well? I am thinking about the front lip on the stock TL height. Also, I am curious on if it would look uneven compared to the sides and rear height.

Scaping A-Spec front spoiler

I will probably end up getting the entire spoiler kit but will shy away from the suspension kit due to scraping concerns.

The car being lowered by the A-Spec suspension isn't that bad. The 3 lots that I had scrapage were some pretty steep driveways. 98% of driveways "should" be safe if you are aware of your speed and the angle. I guess people with lower cars (lower then A-Spec specs) might have a different tune.

Thanks Pocus,
I'll take that into consideration.
