Question A-Spec Dimensions?

Hey guys,

It's been a while since I've posted anything but I'm a constant lurker

How many inches of clearance do I lose by getting the A-spec lip kit. I've tried searching for my answer, but to no avail.

I'm trying to determine if I can continue to use my daily driver without any consequences considering that I already have the H & R Sport Springs (can't remember the drop but I think it was roughly 1.2-1.3 inch drop). I'm running stockies.

Considering speed bumps are about 4 inches high, I'd like to NOT skip a beat every time I go over one.

Thanks guys.

I'm on H&Rs and running an A-Spec lip kit too. It's raining outside for now, but I can run out and get measurements for you when I get a chance.

Perfectly fine for daily driving; the only time you have to worry is when parking next to sidewalks or parking blocks. Scraped my front lip underneath already, but I'm also running 255/40s on my stockies, which I think changes the height a little.

Nah evil, I dont really scrape now but I also dont know how much clearance I have when I go over speed bumps. I also dont know how much clearance I lose with the kit. Soooo, Jo, if you can do that for me, that would definitely help me out. hurry up rain and go away lol.

Edit:

J,or anyone else, if you dont mind, can you please measure all sides. Thanks so much :-)

its not even that significant of a change to have to worry about it. I'm dropped 2 inches on coilovers and don't have to worry about speed bumps.

PMed SiriusCity already, but wanted to post my answer here as well, in case anybody with the same set-up as mine wanted to refer to this in the future.

Measurements are, as follows (sorry for my wording, as I don't have much of a vocabulary for describing specific parts of the lip or car):

Average ride height of my car, from the ground to the top of the wheelwells: 25-1/4 inches (also note that I am riding with 255/40/17 tires, which may be a little smaller than stock for ride height)

Curb where I usually park at my apartment: about 6 inches high

Lowest part of the front lip (gray part): 6-3/8 inches

Highest part of the front lip (just underneath the "ACURA" lettering in front bumper): starts at 8-1/4 inches, and goes to 7-1/2 inches as you look underneath the car

Side of front lip (also similar to side skirt clearance, I believe): 5-1/4 inches

The A spec suspension drops you around 1" if you also go with the suspension along with the body kit.

I can't confirm this, but I believe A-Spec only drops about 3/4-inch (MT A-Spec also gives more of an even drop), IIRC.

OP and I are both running H&R Sport Springs, so the drop is a more-noticeable 1.4/1.3, and also makes it look pretty even to me, from front to back. I hope somebody finds this useful!
