A-Spec or Comptec and 19" ??
A-Spec or Comptec and 19" ??
I have not heard much feedback on the A-Spec kit as of yet and am leary of making a 5000 investment in something without trying it out (the dealer laughed when I asked if I did not like it if I could return the parts).
I am debating dropping the A-Spec kit in favor of the body kit, and Comptech springs + 19" wheels (which would be cheaper in the long run).
Has anyone with the A-Spec kit put on 19" wheels? With the lowered suspension is there any chance of rubbing? While I like the 18" that come with the kit, I am starting to see them on alot of cars and think that Acura made a mistake of not making them exclusive. I also think the 19 fills the wheel VERY nicely.
Any input or thoughts?

I have the chance to get the A-Spec for decent price, but I think Acura has made a mistake by offering almost all of these components (except the steering wheel cover, and the suspension) seperately. I want my car to be unique but I also don't want the hassle of dealing with aftermarket parts.
By that I mean that with the A-Spec I know what I am getting. I know that it has been tested on the car and that it will marginally improve what was available from the factory.
With aftermarket there could be camber issues, rubbing issues, it may be too low and bottom out on curbs, it could be too harsh etc etc. The point being that there is an element of the unknown involved.
To be honest what I would like to do is pick up the A-Spec kit and then swap out the wheels for 19". I can then sell both the stock and the 18" from the A-Spec to pay for them. I am just wondering if they will fit!!!
