backthatACup, Tim is known to let the group buy extend past its end date. As long as the website lists the group buy rate, then its safe to buy it at that price. Tim will honor it.

Here is my Aspec Lip Kit from Acura I ordered through a group buy thanks to Acurazine.com, cost was a low $805.00 shipped...that’s a F#@king steal! Anyways here are the pics:

Before the Front Lip...

After the Front Lip...

Side Skirt before and during...

I dont have any pictures of the side kit yet due to bad weather rolling in soon after i was finished but i will get those later i also never got the chance to install the rear lip but i will keep you guys posted.

Hope this helps out in any way.

Very nice!

You are making me want to do the body kit to my 06 NBP BAD - that front lip is suh-weet! Thanks for the nice close-ups on the install - very interesting for those of us who are on the fence as to whether they should try a mod like this themselves.

If I tell you, you will never believe me…I have been searching Import forums, eBay, craigslist for weeks trying to find a good deal on some Aspec rims and about a week ago I noticed an ad in the San Antonio forum stating a guy selling some Acura rims for $800.00 w/damage with no picture. So I emailed him asking what kind of rims were they OEM 16, 18, color and year, stuff like that. He was one of many I emailed that day around my area. A couple of days later the guy emails me back telling me he still has them and has dropped the price to 500.00 due to no one wanting the rims without tires and due to the damage and the need for space (he said they had been listed for a month already). So I asked for some pictures to be emailed and when I saw the pics two days later I was sold so I called him and before I could say sold he said he would take $250.00 and meet me half way (San Marcos Outlet), at that point I was already out the door but also a little skeptical until the deal was made…he was a cool guy in his mid 40s with his wife about to do shopping at the outlet where we made the deal. Yes I know $250.00 sounds to good to be true.

You're gonna have one pimpin ride with that body kit and those wheels on - and for a very reasonable amount of cash. Congrats!

Do you have a plan on fixing the wheel damage? It looks cosmetic only - is there a place locally that will take care of it for you?

Yeah I would like to but I haven’t figured on a place yet, I heard that discount tire has a place they send rims to get repaired so imp planning on getting a quote there today.

are they the 8.5" a-spec rims? also, $125 a rim to have them reconditioned and like new again. Just did mine about a month ago and can't tell which rim had damage, including scrapes, chips, and 2 flat spots on the edges.

Glad you got rid of the mud flaps with the a-spec kit.

I believe you measure them from bead to bead. I don't think there is a stamping anywhere. After the first year, 2004, i believe they stopped making the 8.5" rims and went to an 8" rim. Just a 1/2" diff but if you ask my wife she'll make a big deal out of 1/2".

I took my rims to the Acura dealership and they shipped them off to Wheel Tech (i think), here in the Dallas area located in Carrolton or Farmers Branch. I'm sure you could do the same with your local dealer or have them recommend who they use. There was no additional charge by the dealership.

Also, I had my rims reconditioned to a lighter gunmetal, almost matches the SSM color on my car but is a little darker than SSM but not as dark as the OEM gunmetal color. Also requested an extra coat of clear. Not sure if they did it but they came out a whole lot better.

Also went to 245/40/18's which gave me a little more lip for the rim. The sidewall is flush with the outside rim. The 235/40/18 they recommend leave the edge of the rim sticking out. BFG's is what I got for $165. I would consider going to 255's next time.

Another question...when i get tires is this going to be something to keep in mind?

I was looking at 245/40/18s but you think 255s would be better? Is the ride to rough with the 245s?

Nope. 245/40/18's have about 1% more sidewall than 235/40/18's.

If your car is black, then you should of ordered Nighthawk Black Pearl. Anthracite is the dark grey color. You ordered the correct one.

I think the spoiler is separate. If this deal is still good, I'd be in for one. If not, any idea if another group buy might go on again?
