A-spec body kit installation

So I ordered my A-Spec body kit from the dealership today and I was wondering if anyone knew if it was an easy install. Im no dumby with a tool in my hand but i dont want to mess anything up. The downside is that the dealer wants to charge a little over $400 for installation labor which just seems outrageous. Has anyone tried it themselves; if so how was it?

very simple and easy install. jackstands min. required for front and rear lips. 3hrs tops, I actually did it in phases, one section at a time over a few days. 1 hr each front and back and about half that for both sides.

Yep, very easy install. The install took about 3 hrs, probably less time if you had a friend to help you do it. Good luck on the install! save yourself the 400 to get some springs+adjustable shocks.

The front lip is real easy to do....probably 30 mins with a help from a friend. I dunno about the rear or sides as I am planning on purchasing them when spring rolls along.

the sides are the easiest, followed by the front and then the back lip. if u are not an idiot with tools, then u can do the front. if u can do the front, then u can do the back too. grab the kit installation directions including the rear bumper removal (really easy) from the 3g garage.

it's gonna take u more than 2 hours if u read the directions and take your time. just go slow to make sure you are doing everything correctly, although it is hard to mess up as you are given templates for the install. u can plan like a sunday to do this and still have most of the day left over to chill.
