Spark Plugs

I'm changing my plugs this weekend and was going to buy NGK G Powers. Are these a good option to use in my 05 TL????????

No, stick with the NGK Iridiums/OEM equivalent.

As has been stated, stick with OEM plugs; no need to spend money on trick spark plugs, the only tricks they play are on the engines they've been put into and the wallets of the folks who bought them.

Specific model number of the NGK iridiums would be helpful, or a link to amazon part...this way I can buy the correct length and not worry about incorrect length, as there are a ton of different NGK iridiums out there.....Please post a link to the correct NGK IRIDIUMs please....that would be great help.

Thank You

The model number should be in your Owner's Manual.

It's going to be IZFR6K11 or IZFR6K-11S. When I had my 3G TL I used the IZFR6K11, which is what Rock Auto had as the prescribed plug, but the ones I changed, which were the originals from the factory, were IZFR6K-11S. I noticed no difference in power or economy. According to the NGK website, both are listed as replacements. For my 4G TL, NGK has 5 different models listed . But the manual only lists ILZKR7B-11S and DILZKR7B11GS so I used the ILZ ones because those were the originals I pulled which were installed from the factory. I'm starting to think there's a certain amount of interchangeability with some of the NGK's. Either way, look in your manual, toward the back under "specifications" too see for sure.

The only adverse effects I've seen reported here is when someone used a different brand like Bosch or Autolite. Whatever model you use, at least stick to NGK Iridiums.
