Sonus SideVUE Blind Spot Mirror

http://sonus-usa.com/autobahn.html

20.00+5-8 shipping

I recently purchased this from the website above, and I must admit, the blind spots in the acura TL is rather large, so I had to try this little simple device out. It works really well and as soon as the car is off my regular mirror, it hits the Sonus mirror right after. If i see any vehicles in either mirror, I dont merge onto that lane.

here are some pics. I do apologize for the dirty car, it's been raining everyday pretty much.

If you position your mirrors correctly, the blind spot isn't that bad. You should NOT be able to see the side of your car in your sideviews.

Good for you. Safety should always come first. You definitely have your priorities straight. I should take a page out of your book. Unfortunately, I just can't get pass the design. It's too unpleasing for me to want to use.

And here's the How To: https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=83972

Takes some getting used to, but there is no blind spot - cars move from one mirror to the next and then into your peripheral vision.

Wish I'd have learned this when I learned to drive - hard to break the habits of 25 years.

#1 is similar to what I have on my car. I've used 'em since my first car and works well and looks pretty decent. $1.99 each at Autozone.

I have been using the MultiVex mirrors in my F-150 and have been very satisfied. Not a cheap solution but they work so well that I also purchased a set for my TL.

I agree... safety first. The ones i have are like #3 (in the above post). Got them at Advance Auto Parts for about $2.99 for a pair.
