Someone stole my wheels LI/NY
I recently bought a-spec wheels from a member on here. Someone must have liked them more than I did. I woke up today and they were gone. Everyone on LI with these wheels or Infiniti's with 19'' should be careful. Just thought I would let everyone know.

No wheel lock because I have found they will remove them anyway. I once had a lexus and I didn't have the key. It took me approximately 5 mins to remove the lock. I would estimate that the guys who did this were professionals. There were many other people who had their wheels stolen as well that night.
Wheel locks in general have caused me more grief than good in the past.... broken keys....lost keys... etc.
Insurance adjuster hasn't told me how much yet.

man I just picked up these frickin awesome a-spec rims for my acura from these guys in NY...you wouldnt believe how many rims I had to choose from...DIRT cheap too! 
They even offered to remove and install my factory rims in under 1 min each! Very professional! I didnt get a business card though....

Did it happen in Holbrook or near Hofstra?
Last year, Fox 5 News did a special on Wheels being stolen... the car in choice, was a WDP 07+ TL Type-S.... I remember being horrified when i saw the news clip
And its funny you mention Infinity 19's... those were also mentioned in that news clip.... Apparantly, they are very hot items.... G35/G37, Acura TL wheels & E46 M3 Wheels

u can break any wheel lock
but its made as more of a deterrent. they think it takes more time and when stealing something, time is crucial

I'm still on the stock rims and they are a bit scratched for good measure lol I dont think that will be happening to me anytime soon but paterson is a sucky area to have a good car without a driveway
I got the alarm and I put the CLUB on but i feel like a dork everytime i put it on :\ i read somewhere that they just cut the wheel so what's the use?

f* that... i keep a baseball bat near my door... i caught some punks egging my car 2 weeks ago.... AND, a few years back, i had a ford explorer with like $12,000+ in custom work, mother fckers tried to steal it from in front of my house...
ALWAYS keep a baseball bat or wooden stick near my front door

so where in LI was it?
A couple days ago I saw on news12 that a couple of cars just got their wheels stolen, I forgot what town it was. But it seemed like a decent town. There was an e93 M3 and a GTR on bricks.....time to get bullets for the shotty!!!
