Someone stole my keys.... Please Help Me

I was on vacation when I got a call from the police. They said my house had been broken into. To make it short they took everything but the sink. Along was my keys w/ remote to the car. I going to get a new cylinder key set but was wondering since I am replacing all key locks and ignition switch if I could go with the 07 switchblade type of keys. any info would be great. Thanks

Mod EDIT: Please keep all for sale items in the Black-Market

Your car was not at home, lucky you. Most likely they threw your keys away but don't risk it. On a side note, many times its cheaper to buy all new locks than to pay a locksmith to change out the pins in the lock of your house.

I hate thiefs. They take $15000 worth of your stuff and sell it for $35 worth of crack.

Do you still have one set of keys? If yes, the cheapest thing is to have the locksmith file down sections of the key (the highest dips) and repin the locks to it. Should be 50 dollars for that for two pins, and then recutting your key. Then you can have another one made for 40-150 dollars plus the remote.

However, you can buy the door lock and ignition from acura with key/s and all the other stuff which may end up costing around 300 dollars, which would get you the switchblade key....

edit:

Part number # 06350-SEP-C30 CYLINDER SET, KEY #1 $388.56

You get 2 switchblades, one valet key, immoblizer unit, the locks for the door, ignition, glovebox and ski-pass for 388...

wow impressive csmeance. 388 is all to get all the parts but then add the cost for programing it, wouldnt it be quite pricey plus the labor?
