Some advice please

So over summer of 2016 I bought a 2008 Acura TL with only 64k on it. So far it runs like new, and is overall a great car. The previous owner took really good care of it. Leather looks like new and all the buttons look like new. My question is though, did I buy the wrong car the long run? My cousin has an infinity G37 and it's badass. It's a sedan as well. Not going to lie I'm a bit jealous and have been second guessing my Acura for about a week now. Should I have gotten a G37? Are they reliable and is the build quality like Acura? Please help! I do drive my car hard sometimes but I maintain the hell out of it, and I want it to last at least 8 years. Will an infinity last that long without any serious problems? Will the Acura last that long? Also I drive about 10-12k a year. Thank you in advance for your response

Keep the TL it was a good buy , I have. Lot of Vq friends that the type of motor in the infiniti's they do have good after market support but I belive they will burn oil a lot quicker than a Honda motor. Stay loyal it honda/acura. What year does he have. The infiniti's are nice and quick when modded but I think it can be a pretty penny. There are a lot of shops by me that specialize in Infiniti and build them very nice but the cars are fat literally if you know what I mean .

Infinity depriciate really fast an 07-08 G35 sedan can be found at $7-8, however a base 07-08 tl with same mile still goes for that much if not couple hundred more.

Grass is always greener on the other side effect here? Get the g37 and you'll regret given up the TL.

Thanks!

thank you all for the input! Really helped me out. Was thinking about it and the only thing I really like about the inifiniti is that it's rwd and has more power. Besides that I love the styling of the TL inside and out. Everything feels quality too. The inifinit on the other hand felt really cheap to me. For example the pop open compartments in the center feel like they'll break easy in the Infiniti but in the TL they feel really sturdy. I've also heard that nissans in general aren't that reliable compared to hondas. Thanks again everyone

You have a great car.Take care of it and it will pay you back. When you get older or get in a better financial situation then make your move.Take this from someone who has been there done that. There will always be a faster cat than yours....even if you have a BUGATTI! Who cares.

the G sure does have power but the interior is less refine than our 3g TL, I drove couple 07 G35 sedan before and the power is not that great when compare to a IS350 or 335i.

Long term, the Infiniti will have higher repair and maintenance costs. This was one of many factors in my decision to get a TL.

Haha I'm sorry it's my autocorrect that keeps changing it to infinity instead of Infiniti
