I was thinking of lining up to this this basically brand new Solstice GXP auto... but I did a little research and it looks like the mid to low 5 sec 0-60 and turbo influenced powerband would probably trounce my '04 TL 6mt pretty bad... I might do it anyway just for fun, I know I'll at least win the dig since that Solstice hesitates off the line and it's an auto. Maybe I'll be able to hold it off for a while... What do you guys think?

It should be a good run. Every test I've read shows that thing at 14.3-14.4 at ~97mph. Must be overrated, because at 260/260 and sub 3000 lbs, it should be faster.

 

I'd venture to say that the turbo auto GXP is quicker than the manual. With the auto, the driver can brake boost which is something that manual can't do. No boost is lost between shifts either. Supra TT's are quicker with the autos as well as 911TTs.
