Talking Sold my Porsche

Well, despite some of the problems I've had with my new TL, I decided that the TL is so much fun to drive I don't need my Porsche 911 anymore. In fact, when I realized that the only times I ever drove the 911 was when the TL was in the shop (which was unfortunately too often) I decided to go ahead and put the 911 up for sale.

Sold it this morning. I think it really goes to show how great a car the TL is. It really does fit the bill in both the people hauler sedan/commuter car category and sports car fun catagory. Who needs a Porsche when the TL is this fun.

Well, that says mountains about the TL. A Porsche 911 used to be one of those cars I always wanted to get my hands on.....

Hey, I don't blame you. This car is just fun to drive. I had a 3000GT twin turbo (300hp, ,5mt, AWD) a few years ago and this car so much reminds of it. If we could just get some decent tires.

911 TT's are one of my favorite cars. They have the nicest sounding exhausts (sounds like aircraft turbines), and going from 0-60 in a little over 4 seconds with a 3.6 liter engine... o_O

This is really strange. Comparing a 911 with a TL. I have had a 911 (well, a 1969 "E") and it would be like comparing a car, any car, with a skateboard. Mine (911) was slow by today's standards but you felt one with the road. I do like our TL but not thrilled the way the drive tires can be broken loose. I will wait until warmer weather to see how it really works (HPT).
