Acura makes a Turbo charger that makes 300 HP so we will have 558 HP!! You'll regret it!!

Anyways good trade, 10' Camaro is better IMO

i dont wanna mess with the motor only because of the lifetime warranty i bought...if i didnt have that i would prob have tuned it or sts turbo'ed it after the 3 year warranty was up..but now i have warranty as long as i own the car,so it dosent make sense to mess with the motor to void anything, which is why i never sced my TL

The lifetime powertrain warranty is bananas.. too bad it's non-transferable. Let's hope that they stay in business!

i paid somewhere between 36-43k out the door with lifetime warranty on the motor (more on the higher end of those numbers of course)

i havnt seen a camaro yet but i keep hearing from alot of people that they are ugly in person, but it worked out that i got the challenger and i am happy,no regrets.

edit: i paid no markup on my car,but my dad paid 5K markup on his, because his is one of the 08 limted edition numbered challengers, and my mom paid 2500 markup for hers because of the fact that its an extremely rare car right now.
No way I'm paying markup for anything. I ordered a Vette in late 99 in a color that was only 5% of production with a waiting list, still didn't pay sticker. People were paying markup on Ford Thunderbirds a few years back too.

theres no way it would have worked out that way.

i traded my acura in for the blue challenger and took over payments from my moms car which is the orange one.. (she only had it for 6 days)

thats the only reason i was able to do it...i was 14K upside down on the TL but thats how much upside down we would have been if we traded the orange one in only 6 days after owning it..so it didnt make sense to trade it in

i owed 30K on the TL because of the fact that i owed on my previous car..

i got 16K for the TL

we WERE gonna trade the orange (my car) in for the blue one, because my mom ended up hating the color..but when we asked how much they would give us for the orange car,we would have lost 10K

so instead of losing 10K on a car with only 500 miles,we decided i would take over payments on the orange car,and trade the TL with 40K miles and just put a little more down on the blue car because either way we were losing money.

we put 10K down on the orange car, and 10K down on the blue car.

Beautiful....love the new Challengers. If we didn't have Winter here 5 months out of the year, it'd be on my short list.

There's no substitute for RWD and a big ole' American V8....absolutely nothing sounds better than that rumble through a pair of glasspacks!

Congrats!

Dude..wtf...this is an Acura forum...take your american POS to somewhere else. Nobody here wants to see it.

Ok, so seriously...anyone that can't appreciate a car for being, you know, a car, is not a TRUE car enthusiast. I bet the jerkoffs bashing your purchase also had Z Cavaricci's and Trapper Keepers.

A badazz car is a badazz car no matter where it was made. That's my opinion.

maybe yours...I special ordered mine from Burma! The only place where the TL is produced with a flux capacitor as a standard feature. So far, no issues with mine either though. I mean, nothing unrectifiable.

Anyway...again, congrats on the challenger man...very sweet ride.

yeah.. I tried getting the limited Burma flux cap edition but no go. It seems I can't get a hold of anyone with one either.. something about teleporting into the future after hitting 80mph.. everytime I hit 80, I'm sorely disappointed.. Oh well.. I'm happy with my VTECH limited edition with 18:1 CR, OD & extra special hidden rattles. Only the first few dozen 3G's to come out have this. I'm so lucky!

delta - thanks for the pic of the red Challenger. Aside from the bumper mismatch, I love it. Of course, I have it on my TL, so you'd think I'd be used to it . Besides my next car being American muscle, it will either be dark red or dark blue. Haven't seen pics of your TL in forever...it came out great. How's the truck coming?

if it werent for the stupid ass weather the truck would be in primer already but every day has been windy for weeks!

the bumper mismatch was bad on the red one,but the orange isnt as bad but theres still some..

the dark blue (deep water blue) is nice on the challenger but no blue beats the B5 like my moms IMO

Trust me brother, I feel your pain. This TL was originally purchased Dec. 2003. I've managed to get by with some polyfill for the rear deck and loud music! Lol.

PS...I just figure out your problem...you were 8MPH short of time travel...AND had a flux cap.

Lol. Trust me, I can crap with the best of em!

Well I was thinking of getting a is350 early next year, but after looking at this thread I got some ideas for something else. Starting building a 2010 Camaro 1SS and 425hp later I fell in love! Looks like 1 more year and I'll be American Muscle........watch out Marti!

30K....ouch! I thought I was upside down owing 23K and change on my '06. I guess it's not the worst car to be upside down on though, especially at 5.5%.

we'll see im still convincing myself not to tune my car. its less than $400 for a tuner. i just dont want to void my warranty. if im going to void my warranty i think im gonna do forced induction.

Me too......I will owe $12k next March. I'll be able to sell outright or maybe trade in for the payoff. I'm using aftermarket parts and tax return for the down payment next year
