I would have gone with the new V8 Camaro.. that's a lot of bang for $30k. I can't believe that you, your mom and your dad have challenger's.. do you have family that work for the dealership? damn.. well props for the upgrade. I love pushing the TL through corners but I guess a powerslide will be fun too!

the SE v6 starts around 25 with no options, the R/T starts around 36K almost loaded if u can find a dealer without a 5K markup. the SRT is 45K and already comes with all options, again,if u can find a dealer who isnt still marking them up 5-10K
i paid somewhere between 36-43k out the door with lifetime warranty on the motor (more on the higher end of those numbers of course)
i havnt seen a camaro yet but i keep hearing from alot of people that they are ugly in person, but it worked out that i got the challenger and i am happy,no regrets.
edit: i paid no markup on my car,but my dad paid 5K markup on his, because his is one of the 08 limted edition numbered challengers, and my mom paid 2500 markup for hers because of the fact that its an extremely rare car right now.

They're ugly in pictures, too. It's the only downside to them, in my opinion. I've only seen two Challengers in person, a white SE and a silver RT...I liked them both. I would get one in the dark red (not the Dodge red, but the darker one) or blue (need to see a blue one first to see if I really like the blue; can't see your pics at work to see your mom's). Dark gray would be an outside option.

It was nice.. no bells & whistles but damn it looks so good.. I was seriously going to ask about a trade-in evaluation.

Wow, 3 Challengers lol. Great purchase man, I want to pick up a 6 speed SRT-8 when I'm done with the TL. Don't really care for the Camero even tho they're faster and quite a bit lighter, the Challenger just looks great.
Congrats dude!

^ that's a massive comment about not commenting.
Great pickup on the Challenger, hopefully there'll be one more left in the fam for the little kid when he turns 16
I'd love a Challenger right now...

^we had the dark red for about a month before we traded it in for my orange one.
i never cared for the dark red (inferno red) myself. it definatly never caught the eye of other drivers like the orange.
it was a boring ass SE and it was the plainest car ever...it might have well been a base corolla which is why we traded it in so fast.

like i said before, ive always been extremely strict about owning only stick shift vehicles, but this car being autostick left me with no regrets. it has the power when i need it,just like the 6MT TL,only this time its a whole lot more power lol

Got any more pics of your mom's car? Old and/or new. I'd love to see some actual pictures of the inferno red and more of the blue. From what I can see, the blue looks much better than on Dodge's site. If you don't want to clutter up this thread with pics that aren't your car, just shoot me a PM. I'd appreciate it.

If I had space, and time, I would consider getting myself a Camaro 6.2, or Mustang Shelby GT500, I think these two are sick...
Another car that I think it'll be fun would be Lancer EVO X... Although it only has 2.0L but it's turbocharge and it got AWD...
Of course, too bad that Honda/Acura did not consider having a RWD 3G TL Type-S, I think they should have done that back in 2007...
It could have been one of the best car...
Or AWD in a 3G TL, instead of 4G TL, which looks FUGLY...
Just look at Lancer EVO X, it's sick, just imagine what would it be like if Honda/Acura put a 3.5L turbocharge? CVT 6-speed, AWD on the 3G TL?

i will upload some pics when i get on my comp later of the red,i have to take some more pics of the blue one cause these are the only ones i have right now, but i dont mind one bit puttin the pix up.
i def am not going to get springs or coilovers for this car as much as i like the way it looks. i dont want to sacrifice the comfort of the drive like i did with my TL plus driving slow over bumps or avoiding steep driveways. i am going to try to pick up some SRT suspension at best.

OMG 3 in the driveway that is crazy hahaha
I bet every neighbor on your street goes by your house drooling or wondering why you have 3 new challengers sitting pretty in the driveway hahah...hmm they must work for Dodge^^
I think Vortech makes a S-Charger for that will give it some real big gains, might be worth looking into if you need more speed hahah.
Either way cool purchase, i know that car would be a lot more fun to drive than the TL.

Just answering a question jackass. Sounds like someone got a little butt hurt that a cheaper Domestic will run rings around a more expensive TL. You'll get over it one day.
