I'm looking to sell my '06 Maxima pretty soon and buy an '06-'07ish TL. I'm thinking of going with white or silver and having all the chrome on the car black chromed instead to stand out against the light colored car.

How difficult would it be to remove the grill, the chrome lip that looks to be attached to the hood, and the chrome lip above the license plate on the trunk? Are these two chrome "lips" held on by double sided adhesive or what?

I'd also like to go with the A-spec front bumper and side skirts and S-type rear bumper, exhaust tips, taillights, and spoiler. I think this combined with some black chromed A-spec wheels and a 20% tint would look sharp on a light colored car.

The trim pieces (front grille and rear LP) are held on with clips and/or screws. IIRC, the front comes off as individual pieces from the grille. The rear part comes out as one whole peice and you remove the chrome strip from that.

Check the 3G Garage to see if there are Grill removal instructions.
