It's possible the 02 got fouled when the car had a misfire. That's their problem, not yours.

I would think that if the O2 sensor got fouled or really dirty that the O2 sensor could not read or respond, I would think the ECM would try to richen up the fuel mixture.. but I do not know exactly how the O2 sensor works.. But I know it creates a voltage based on the difference between the outside air and the exhaust..

so the update is they replaced both heads and the car ran great....

BAD NEWS!!!

just past friday i was sitting at a stop sign. Let out on the clutch and hear a bad banging sound... followed by a sound that kinda was like a leaky exhaust. I procceded into second gear and the sound was horrible. I then went to pull in a parking lot and the car would not go forward or reverse.

Now my clutch hasnt been replaced and i have approx 35000 miles. i thought maybe that could have been it (throwout bearing or whatnot)

Towed it to a mechanic of mine before sending it to Acura and they said sounds that the output shaft is shattered...

WTF is up with this car. I drive this car very reasonable and rarely at all. It is garage kept and i only drive it.

Anyways sorry for the rant but its now towed to ACURA to find out what the exact problem is.

That is terrible. I've had GM's like that and dumped them quickly. Lost money but the aggravation of dealing with service advisers was terrible.

I've only owned 2 Honda's and I have been lucky enough to not have any issues.

Hope things work out for you.

Stay persistent and positive. Your are under warranty and let Acura take care of it. Eventually it will get fixed. Thank god for warranties.

Damn! Sorry to hear about his bro. Only issues I have had with mine are the shifing issues which synchromesh took care of, a little peeling on my drivers side leather seat which I will be calling corporate this week as i barely have 20k on it, and the 3 holes the dealer I bought it from decided to drill in the bumper.
