Snowboard rack options
Seached for rack and found this https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...highlight=rack
I have used Yakama racks for other Honda products with excellent results. No damage and they attach so strong it would seem you could lift the car by the racks.
A friend had a Yakama rack on has 300ZX Turbo and flipped the car 360 degrees end over end after driving off the road and hitting an embankment. The bicycle and rack were still attached and fine after he landed - the car was totaled.

I have a lot of experience with Thule racks...Yakima is pretty much the same thing. Im not sure of the Yakima prices, but to equip the TL with a Thule rack and snowboard/ski carrier it costs about 229 for everything. The only difference between Yakima and Thule are the load bars, Thule uses a rectangle bar, Yakima uses a round bar. Aside from that I am not aware of any differences. Its a love/hate relationship with customers, some love Thule, some hate it, same with Yakima.
As for the issue of mounting without any damage...just make sure you clean the area of the roof you are going to put the fit kit and feet onto, all parts have a protective coating on them to not damage the paint. Thats pretty much it.
