Smoked a ~2000 BMW 323i
There was this kid driving it, younger than me, and he kept creeping up at the light. So when we took off (the roads were dry on Tuesday, warm December), he kept up to me in first gear until I was about at 6000rpm and then he started to fall behind. I went up to about 120km/h on a road with the speed limit of 100km/h. No matter how hard he tried he couldn't catch up to me through second gear and just fell further behind. When we got to the next light he wouldn't even look at me. He looked pretty pissed off.

325i is like 184hp, so my guess a 323i is like 170hp? makes sense why the 1st gen TL would kill it

Nice kill! What I don't understand is how this guy had even the guts to try racing a TL which is almost 100hp more?

1st gen 2.5 TL's G25 motor puts out a realistic 190 hp at the crank (its underrated) It has a broad torque curve plus a high redline (7000 rpms)
Good kill.

After he caught up,(When I stopped at a light) I looked him in eye, pointed and laughed! You kids with these small cars and little engines get real lives or better jobs! Bragging about beating a German car that has 170 horsepower is like telling your friends you beat up your little sister. It pumps you up to only the person you see in the mirror and your friends are embarassed to know you. At least get a high end Acura if your going to hold your head up high and stick your chest out! I make sure and pull away from great cars........not little kids in cars with 170hp. I am copying and pasting this bulletin and sending it to everyone I know, this is absolutely hilarious! Thank you for the wonderful laugh! The last stand up routine I went to wasn't anywhere near this funny! P.S. Do you like my member name? Hehe!
second, i thought people in their 30s were more mature?

I'm sure you own a fabulous German car, probably saved up all your money to get that 318i. Needless to say you still live in an apartment, but at least you don't live with your mama.
Are you old enough to drink yet?
