i hit the side of the garage door frame backing out this morning. just slightly kissed it and snapped the housing. can anyone tell me if for a 2007 tl you need to take off the door panel to get to the mirror bolts. someone said that for the passenger side mirror all you need to do is take off the triangle cover but dunno if thats true? if anybody has pictures of the tech manual for the car that outlines how to replace side mirrors that would be awesome. the guy that posted the pictures in this thread https://acurazine.com/forums/third-g...-045-a-573130/ his photobucket links expired.

thanks man but unfortunately my problem is that the actual mirror housing is busted not the glass itself. to my knowledge and search fu it seems like the link i posted in the OP is the only one i see thus far that was discussing total mirror replacement and not just glass. but of course the pics are expired lol

okay i found the 07 TL tech manual online. this is imgur link to how to do it, ordered in the steps you have to do it. i dont think you have to do anything but the first part of the door panel removal, just to get it off just enough to get the inner door sash off.

yup this exactly. but need to remove door panel and inner door sash. but i found the service manual and found the procedure for doing those. thanks for the help man!

It's a 10-15 min job if you know what you're doing.
