smashed side mirror. replacement thread pics are expired

i hit the side of the garage door frame backing out this morning. just slightly kissed it and snapped the housing. can anyone tell me if for a 2007 tl you need to take off the door panel to get to the mirror bolts. someone said that for the passenger side mirror all you need to do is take off the triangle cover but dunno if thats true? if anybody has pictures of the tech manual for the car that outlines how to replace side mirrors that would be awesome. the guy that posted the pictures in this thread https://acurazine.com/forums/third-g...-045-a-573130/ his photobucket links expired.

okay i found the 07 TL tech manual online. this is imgur link to how to do it, ordered in the steps you have to do it. i dont think you have to do anything but the first part of the door panel removal, just to get it off just enough to get the inner door sash off.

It's a 10-15 min job if you know what you're doing.

Took me twice that long on the last one I did, but that included looking for the dropped screw...

haha exactly, that's the stuff that slows us down. We try not to make the same mistakes twice.
