Small dents... is it hard to fix?

All of the sudden today I noticed about 5 small dents on the top of my trunk...

They are noticable int he right light but are very small.... I couldn't imagine what happened, as they are too small to be deliberate vandalism, bit nothbing else was aroundf the parking lot.

However, we had a MAJOR wind storm overnight.. I doubt the wind could have done this however Im sure it is possible a tree branch or some other foreign object hit the trunk (especialy since these small sents are sort of in succession).

In ANY CASE, how hard is it to get these repaired? There is no paint damage and they are very slight but you can see them...

Will they have to replace the entire trunk or is there something they can do to smooth them out and make it look like new that is easier... and do I go to the dealer for this?

Any help would be appreciated.

Mike

Yeah. What he said. I got my last car done all around for $20 and you absolutely could not see where the dents had been. No painting required. There were four or five good door dings (may their makers roast in hell!)

I've used dent doctor and dent wizard on my last 3 cars for several small door type dings. They do a great job and it is well worth the money to get the ding out so every day I don't have to look at it when I go out to the car. On average it was about $60 or $70 for each ding.

Where do you find the dent doctor or dent wizard....

Is it a place or something you buy?

These arent like door dings.. they are on the trunk... but similar..

Those who went to places for $20 and all that, which places did you go to.. and does the dealer do this stuff or do you go to regular other places?

Mike

PS - No, no trees nearby where I parked, and although these are small little dents, I doubt an acorn could have caused them.. one is almost on the rim of the trunk.
