Small crack on front bumper... Can it be fixed?

I hit a raccoon last night and this happened. Can it be fixed with out replacing the bumper? I bought the front aspec kit for the car yesterday and I know it will be covered but I don't want the crack to worsen.

There are several ways to repair it. A quick way to keep it from spreading is to drill a small hole at each end of the crack. You can then grind the crack out and use a repair epoxy that stays flexible to fill the areas you ground out. I usually add fiberglass mat to the epoxy on the back side of the repair area to reinforce it. Then you sand, prime, and paint...

^^ +1 on drilling holes in the ends of the crack to prevent it from cracking further.

Also 3M makes a urethane type of epoxy for repairs to bumpers

There's a video of the kit and process, to be honest that whole kit is fairly expensive, the gun that is used to mix the epoxy 1:1 is sold separately I'm sure.

They also make an epoxy kit for flexible bumpers that is a lot less for like $10, and I think NAPA has something similar.

You can find the stuff at any auto paint jobber (body shop supplier). I use one made by Evercoat that fits a regular caulk gun. It's under $50. They have a quick cure and a slow cure formula depending on how fast you want it to set up.

Thanks for the replies! I think I'm going to drill the holes today and search for the JB weld. My aspec lip is coming on Tuesday so I will hopefully have it installed soon!
