why do you want big ass exhaust tips that will engulf your head?

personally, a big ROUND exhaust tip DOES not FIT the shape of the TL's bumper.

again, please sell your car and get a civic!!!!

Lol engulf your head, I just like how it looks and its not a true duel so I don't see the point of having duel exhaust.

what do you mean, dont see the point of having a dual exhaust?

it looks amazing.
your future plans already look UGLY.
lol. a round cannon does not fit the shape of the TL's square/rectangle exhaust cutout.

do whatever you want man, just dont ask for opinions...if you're just gonna do whatever you want anyway...

I'm not doing whatever I want and I originally just asked if there was anything you guys knew about bumper plugs I could buy. I am going to reconsider it though I don't want a ricer but I want something different and I don't want to spend 1k for exhaust but I guess I would rather spend more then not be happy if I did the HKS

yes, we've strayed away from the original topic. for that I am sorry.

you're in charge of your money. not I, or any other person on here.
if that's what you want, the HKS muffler, then by all means go and get what you want.

I believe what everyone is trying to tell you is that many of us will dis-agree with what you think looks/sounds great. Lots of options and opinions have been shared, but it is your car so do what you want with it. If you want the HKS, then get it. We don't drive the car, so we don't have to like it. You do.

For the most part, there is very little to gain performance wise from just changing out the mufflers. That will mostly be a look/sound change. So figure out the sound profile you want and the look you want, and do it. Search the forums and see what is already out there. Lots of videos and other info already posted on what people have tried over the years.

OP, being different is not always better. I could paint the wheels on my red Type S pink and it will be different, but it would be stupid.

Yeah yeah I know it's all personal preference, but for example if I saw your TL going down the street and saw a single huge ass HKS muffler I would laugh a little bit. The TL's are getting cheaper these days and are becoming more affordable to the kind of people that will do goofy things like this. Let's not promote that and atleast try to keep these cars somewhat classy :-)

Don't do it GRY...stay with a dual. I agree with the other guys,
HKS = Ricer Fart Cannon. Even the one in the clip sounded horrible in the cabin.

All I have to say on the subject is...

Gross.

Good luck finding something to cover that hole. Even people with money tend to leave it which looks nasty in my opinion.

Since when does a single exhaust make more power than duals? It's about area. As long as the duals have as much area as the single section you're not going to lose anything. Keep in mind exhaust flow requirements go down as you get closer to the tailpipes. It has cooled and contracted by the time it gets to the tailpipes. It might still be 400F but that's a lot different than over 1,000F.

round fart cannons justin's talking about:

I much as I liked his clean car (guy doesn't own it anymore), the exhaust tips definitely don't flow.
