Ever since Crapura "worked" on my tranny for the 5AT <14,000 VIN oil-jet recall, my tranny had been very flaky. Slipping inbetween gears, shifting hard, not shifting, revving up and down while in one gear. Another odd thing it did was on a highway pass, it would rev all the way up, but never speed up, then 5 seconds later just grab and jerk. Just listing all this incase anyone else sees these symptons.
I mostly ignored it because I am *STILL* waiting for Honda to pay off this P.O.S. and get it out of my life, but after a while I started to fear for my safety.
So I decided to check the fluids in the car, engine oil was at ok level, but the tranny fluid was almost 3 INCHES up the dipstick over the full dot. Gee, since overfilling has known consequences, it was pretty obvious what was going on.
I took it in, explained to the shop that it has been happening since THEY worked on it, and they did a free drain and refill (to proper level), and gee, the problem went away, nice crisp happy tranny again.
And I also requested an oil change, and they put in synthetic that I didn't ask for, but J.D. the awesome svc rep, only charged me for regular, he's a good guy. If you end up at Ed Voyles Acura, try to get J.D., he tries hard to get things taken care of.

You're STILL waiting for Honda to address the lemon issue? You've had ongoing issues with the car for the better part of a year. What're they waiting for?
Thanks for the post and fix. It's a shame we have to watch our dealer's service departments' every move....

sorry for the late replies, I don't get on here much, i'm trying to forget about this whole fiasco.
I got the tint at Jazzy Tint down in Riverdale/Fayette, on GA85, they did a good job on the tint, but made a mess of the car and were very late doing it, so take it with a grain of road salt.
Neuron: yes *tap* *tap* *tap*. I"m STILL waiting for them to pay off the loan and collect the car. in the meantime it gets driven every day, and I actually paid for a damned oil change even tho they told me not to. But I'm glad I found the tranny probs, I was getting worried. They told me not to drive the car because of "usage". but what exactly to they expect a person to drive while they sit on their sorry @$$es and do nothing for months ? Thought so.
Bon Voyage.
Oh.. and when they fixed the tranny, they musta done something to the tires, it's very jittery now around high speed curves, I gotta get the guage out and see what they did cuz it definately wasn't like that when I took it in. They probably jacked the pressure way up.
