Driving on Grand Ave today and got an acknowledgment from another tl owner. Same color and generation. Silver 3rd Generation. Just wondering if it's anyone on the forum. Doesn't really happen too often since most 3rd gen tl owners in Nassau are my parents age or older. One other time had an acknowledgment on 135 with another silver 3rd gen. what's with the silver tls in Nassau county?

 

It's a conspiracy led by an underground organization called "STLONC" which stands for Silver TL's Only in Nassau County. I've heard in back parlor rooms that this group has stolen shipments of Acura silver paint and are painting all TL's in Nassau that color. TL owners by the hundreds and thousands are coming out of their houses in the mornings only to find their once NBP TL is now silver with fresh paint dripping.

Shocking, huh?

 

I think they have a hidden cell in DC too... and they have brothers in the Anthracite community here also...

If you want to make posts like this one, you should probably be driving a rarer car.

 

Your not to far from me. Im in Lawrence. Its near woodmere and hewlett.. TONS OF TLS NEAR ME. I would say it is in the top 3 of most common cars around me.

 

probbably not since the other driver was close to my age and flashed me and acknowledged me. Most tl drivers on the road are old people that do not care what kind of car they drive and probably wouldn't be on this site.

 

These factors would increase your odds considerably, but I suspect they're still low. Acura's sold close to 200,000 3G TLs at this point. If even 15% are driven by younger men, that's still 30,000 cars. Based on the viewcounts, there are probably 500-1,000 active 3G TL owners here. So your odds might be as good as one in thirty. Not great, but better than I initially thought.
