Hello I'm looking for information on sidemarker lighting......I've notice that certain tl's sidemarkers either light up the front two or the back two....I want to know how can I have all four lit at the same time and have them be controlled by the headlights(auto mode)... I've searched the forum and couldn't find anything, please help

 

What kind of TL do u have? My 05 base lights up all four when my headlights are on, I bought TL-S LED sidemarkers, really easy to install and give off a great look

 

All four should come on and stay on with the parking lights/headlights.

 

What or whos TL are you looking at that only lights up the front 2 or the rear 2?

I think all models from 04-08 side markers light up..

 

you might be seeing failed side markers. the drivers side front seems to be prone to failure at least in the 04-05s. Normally all 4 should be lit when the parking lights or headlights are on.

 

I have an 08 ppm tl, and just the front two light up. I keep the lights on auto does that have something to do with it? I will take some night pics asap. I'm not sure on the year but I passed a tl on only the back lights were on. Should I switch it off the auto mode? I know all the lights work because they light up with the alarm. Oh yeah I forgot to mention I switched all my sidemarkers to usr smoked with white LEDs.........

 

You knw i will switch it off auto and just turn it to the park lights and see if they come on in the morning, but if that is the case how can I have all the lights on at once? I'm so confused, this car is driving me crazy

 

All four should come on with your parking lights. I also have an '08 and all four come on with the parking/headlights.

 

Are you sure your rears flash with the alarm? Did all 4 work before you switched them out? I would have guessed that they might not be plugged in if not. I would double check the connections on the rears anyway.

 

Ok I guess it was a glitch or I cant see.... I turned the parking lights on by themselves and what do you know they were lite and then I turne them back to auto and they still were lite...... It was either a glitch or I'm blind lol... but thanks for the feedback.
