Side view mirror blind spot attachment
i had a rectangular looking one on my old 89 civic that i liked a lot better than a round one...
i would not put one on the TL though. imo, the image on it is so small it's hard to see anyway. At night it'd be very hard to see a car in that little mirror there unless it had side markers or something.
If you do put one on, just the drivers side is needed really. when you look at the passenger side mirror you can more or less use your periphery to check the blindspot. If not your periphery, you're already more or less looking at that side.

Do you have your side mirrors the "common" way or the "smarter" way?
This is what I mean by the smarter way.

Saw this article and have been running my mirrors this way ever since. IMO those little mirrors take up too much space that's even more valuable on the smaller mirrors of a passenger car. On a van/truck/suv, maybe, but on a TL, not for me.

Not to thread jack, and I'm sure its been discussed before, but when pulling up to a stop sign intersection like a T, does anyone occasionally not see a car coming from the right- its perfectly blocked by the Pillar? This has happened 2-3 times to be (only owned for 3 months) and is pretty scary.

I have them and use them all the time. The A-pillars block alot. Its easier for me to look at the mirror and see EVERYTHING next to and behind me.

I have adjustable ones.
I drive in NYC and people here are retards driving so for me its a MUST.

can you post a pic of your rear view? was thinking of getting a new one.. of all the cars I drove for some reason I mess with the TL rear view about once every two months.. I have gone years without messing with a rear view in previous cars

I used to have them on my '99 Civic. Definitely helped in Houston traffic and opened up my blind spots.
The TL side mirrors don't seem any bigger, so I don't see any reason they would hinder your view.

For the most part, I don't like 'em. Looks ugly.
OTOH, my Fusion has 'em built in and they are very useful.
