The side bumper that goes alongside the car - what's it called?

So I made a noob error while trying to change a flat and ended up putting the Jack too close to the car, which caused the side bumper thing to essentially snap off.

Does anyone know what it's called and any places I can buy a replacement bumper or whatever? It's for the passenger side, it's the strip closest to the front passenger tire - the other strip that sits below the back-right passenger door is fine.

Also, because of this error, my front passenger door isn't opening as smoothly, which is I guess a separate issue.

Thanks!

It's called side skirt aka rocker panel aka side protector.

Best bet is to buy it off a junk yard or ask someone who upgraded to aspec and still have stock lying around.

Or upgrade to aspec side skirts

I think you are referring to the side skirt.

I would post a WTB ad in the Black Market. A lot of members with ASPEC side skirts might still have their original skirts lying around somewhere. I know I do.

Thanks guys!

The side skirt snapped off, I feel as though it's not damaged and I might be able to get someone to pop it back on, unless it's an easy fix and I could do it myself. Right now the car just looks naked with one side missing.

Any links or guides on how to do it yourself? Thanks!

Are the a-spec side skirts worth it - and if so, what's a ballpark range for them? And also a good place to shop online?

Is the side skirt listed on this diagram?

A-Spec side skirts are 305 shipped.
They come painted as long as your colour isn't discontinued.

That's for all 4 (both sides).
Message any vendor here such as AckTL05 or oemacurapartstim

You can DIY.

If the parts is not broken, just remove the clips #14, 20, & 24 and tranfer them back to the sill panel.

Clips

#14 is a push in and pull out clip.

#20 is a expansion push clip. To remove from the car just pull the center part out part way a little then it's no longer expanded, then I'll come out of the hole. Or cut it with a stiff puty knife and replace.

#24 is a push on clip. To remove from the car just twist it and pull out at same time snd i'll release... it's keyed.

The front part is attached by screws.

Once clips are back inplace just line up the holes with the clips and push in.

Placement parts below if needed.

Note: diagram is a 05. Not sure if other years are same or not. It would help if you noted your vehicle's year.
