How many miles? 9k seems like a good deal assuming clean title and resonable mileage..

I believe that's an 05 as it's WDP over quartz interior. It looks in great condition, but that mileage is a bit high (172K).

KBB is $11,728 (for my zip code 08060), so if you can get it for 9K and are OK with the mileage, go for it. Just make sure the 105K service was done (and if not, do it immediately after purchase). If it runs well, you made out well.

Kinda high on the miles but maybe you can get a couple bucks more off.

Sounds like a fair price, holy nice driver's seat. The previous owners couldn't have been much above 100 lbs! lol

I'd take it for 7500-8k.

but I still think you may be able to find better. The mileage is high but it DOES look well maintained. Chances are if they took care of the interior that well they probably took care of the engine too. Check/Ask for carfax report.

Good price I suppose... 30k miles per year is a shit ton but if mileage isn't a concern than go for it.

On another note. Is that really how the navi interface looks on the early model TLs?

It looks so.... not good lol

as long all the services were done and you dont spent more than 90oo$ i think is good.. what you have to consider is that at 170000 miles equals like half the life of the car, at least for me thats what it represent considering the top is 300000 miles. good luck in your decision.

Thanks all. I'm not sure what to do as of yet. But I did find this one as well

On the other hand, what should I look for in these vehicles/years? I haven't really heard much about this generation. Are these generation known to have tranny issues like its previous generation?

Ok, you got me. What is the difference between the 07-08 interface that makes the 04-06 look so not good?

Its not that its a huge difference but its for sure a different screen setup. I think they spruced it up a bit for the 07/08 models thats probably why he was surprised to see it like that.

Here is a picture to compare AM screens between the 04-06 and the 07-08 cars :-)

I'm selling this one, if interested

I put this in the Off Topic section several months back. The car is still (barely) under 40K. its a 2005 TL, totally stock, bought it new Dec 31, 2004, so its 7 years old. I would take some off, whatever the current KBB value is.

James, thanks for the comparison and I agree with you it's not a huge difference.

By looking around some of the crevaces etc they didn't take car of the interior that well and the guy that detailed it didn't do a good job either. The inside has been filthy at one time.

I ended up purchasing the car from them for $8400 . I am very pleased and feel the car is very strong still. I did however before buying it, tracked down where it was serviced and talked to the service manager. Everything on the car was well maintained. Water pump and timing belt was completed at 110k and ALL the fluids have been flushed and exchanged.
Also the previous owner left his address in the NAVi and i did look it up (creepy i know) but his place of resident was in a very well taken care community.

Well, it's not a HUGE difference by any means but it's different enough for me to notice and complain about lol. From what i remember, Acura updated the interface of the 07-08 navigation's as well as increased the resolution on the navis so it looks a tad bit better.
