Should i file a complaint with Acura Client Relations?

i brought my car to the dealership to get one of my OEM wheels repainted (it was chipping and fading). the guy that re-painted my wheel must have been mad or something because he did not mask the wheel off correctly. he sprayed over my lugnuts, valve stem, brake caliper, brake pads and rotor. on top of this the spray job is very shotty, there are paint runs all over the wheel. i emailed the sales manager who sold me the car over a week ago and he didn't respond.

Wait until you hear from the sale manager. Why did you accept the wheel when it looked like crap?

woah that is really bad. file a complaint with acura client relations and goodluck with that. also file a complaint with BBB.ORG and another complaint with DealerRater.com..also see if you can go back and speak to the manager for the service department that did the work. i doubt the sales man can do anything and he might even not because he already sold you the car

Stop e-mailing. Call him. If that doesn't work, then just go there and speak with him. Put him on the spot if you have to. It's $300 out your pocket.

I am trying to get them to replace one on my car as well because it is bent. I was told NO buy the sales manager but was encouraged to call Acura by the service agent. I suggest that you call them if you cannot get a response.

Also....fyi....I was told but ACR that this is something that the dealership needs to make right. They said that all they can do it contact them on my behalf and try to add some internal pressure. Personally I believe I will be buying a wheel next week, but it is worth the call.

That's messed up dude.

Personally I would drive there and meet the guy in person. I am not an e-mail guy when it comes to something like this. To easy for the next guy to ignore it.

and show it to the sales manager, service manager and general manager and ask if they would accept that on their personal cars. If they do, tell them you don't and you'd gladly exchange a your wheel for one of theirs.

Take pictures and make copies of the paperwork. Keep records of phone calls and emails and document everything. Get names and phone numbers.

on the picture.

Talk to the sales manager, the person you spoke with, and the general manager, but be polite and firm, and tell them exactly what you want (again, in a polite tone, not accusing, etc.). You'll get better service that way. Also, tell them how you'd like it to be fixed, e.g., that you'd like the wheel to be taken off and painted professionally.

If they deny you, gradually increase your tone and loudness until you get what you want.

They should have taken it off the wheel.

Call him again with your decision and let him know it will be the last call before you take it up above, then, if he doesn't respond, do all you can to make his life miserable.

Have them get you another wheel, change over the tire and be done with the situation. Most non OE wheel paint jobs won't match the factory paint in quality nor durability and the paint shade at times is questionable, and use some elbow grease and cleaner to remove the overspray.

In these cases a phone call or a personal visit is best. State what you expect...

When i had a water leak, i took it twice; before the third time i called Acura Care and opened a case. They must have notified the stealership because the Service Advisor was a lot more persistent and willing.
