Should Acura have "refreshed" the TL in '06?

I am just curious what you folks think. As you know, Acura did a "refresh" on the '07 TL. Do you think they should have done that for the '06, since they are "overhauling" the TL in 2008?

Personally, I think they were focusing on the launch of the RDX, and the TL kinda took a back seat? I dunno?

acura runs the 5 year cycle. The first 3 years, the car is basically the same. In the 4th year, the change a few little things. The fith year again they change it a little. Then the next year, it is the totally diffrent model (next generation) and it is the first year of the next 5 year cycle.

No.
I'm an old grouch that isn't big on change for the sake of change. Too many good things have been f&cked up for the sake of marketing. They finally got the TL (3G) to the point where it doesn't look like a glorified Accord or some lopped tail abomination.

Now to speak out if the other side of my ass.... I don't like having the same car as everyone else so I guess If they change it a lot then that helps out with that situation.

No, and for the reason noted in the second post. It just wasn't time.

I say again, I can't wait to see what Acura does for the 4G TL. I know they've been reading our posts, and many who post here are their target demographic, so.......

I'm not sure what the refresh looks like (have seen the 07 TL-s, but....) but I think they should have added an air dam in the middle below the grill, like how the TL Concept did.
