I have a 5AT with 2500 miles on it. I noticed that when the car was new it shifted seamlessly. Now I can tell when it shifts , especially the downshifts (2/1 and 3/2). I can count the upshifts too. Anyone else notice this. Does it become seamless again after some more miles . It is not terrible just not as smooth as when new.

 

Not pretty sure. Mine was kind of jerky in some particular shift points when my car was pretty new. Then, it turns more and more smooth after I add more miles. But, I'm sure this tranny isn't that smooth in all ranges (most of time it's smooth)
